A series of donor-acceptor copolymers with dicyclopenta[cd,jk]pyrene and dicyclopenta[cd,lm]perylene acceptor units was prepared via palladium catalyzed cyclopenta-annulation reactions. The acceptor units were paired with diethynyl containing donor groups based on benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b’]dithiophene, thieno[3,2-b]thiophene, and 4-octyl-4H-dithieno[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]pyrrole to create six polymer variants. The cyclopentannulation polymerization resulted in copolymers with molecular weights (Mn) of 6–14 kDa and broad light absorption in the visible region with band gaps of 1.38–1.85 eV. The synthetic methodology, as well as optoelectronic properties, including thin-film absorption and cyclic voltammetry, of the donor-acceptor copolymers are presented.  相似文献

Accurate determination of Sarcosine (SAR) in urine with high sensitivity and selectivity is important, because it was recently recommended as a prospective biomarker for prostate cancer (PCa) and significant for the early identification of PCa. In this study, an electrochemical sensor based on Fe3O4 incorporated metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) @molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was constructed for SAR detection. Magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles embedded zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) was used as the support of MIP. MIP provides specific recognition sites for template molecules SAR and MOFs increase the rate of mass transfer and adsorption capacity due to the porous structure. The synthesized super-magnetic Fe3O4@ZIF-8@MIP was self-assembled onto an Au electrode in magnetic field and used as the sensing unit of electrochemical sensor. Cyclic voltammetry was used to monitor the electrochemical behavior, and the binding of SAR resulted in a reduction in the measured current. The results revealed a wide linear range from 1 to 100 pM towards trace SAR determination, with extremely low limit of detection down to 0.4 pM. In conclusion, the Fe3O4@ZIF-8@MIP based sensor provides a selective, sensitive, and convenient method for SAR diagnosis and other cancer marker detection.  相似文献

Two novel inclusion compounds of 4,4′‐sulfonyldibenzoate anions and tetrapropylammonium cations with different ancillary molecules of water and boric acid, namely bis(tetrapropylammonium) 4,4′‐sulfonyldibenzoate dihydrate, 2C12H28N+·C14H8O6S2−·H2O ( 1 ), and bis(tetrapropylammonium) 4,4′‐sulfonyldibenzoate bis(boric acid), 2C12H28N+·C14H8O6S2−·2H3BO3 ( 2 ), were prepared and characterized using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In the two salts, the host 4,4′‐sulfonyldibenzoic acid molecules, which are converted to the corresponding anions under basic conditions, can be regarded as proton acceptors which link different proton donors of the ancillary molecules of water or boric acid. In this way, an isolated hydrogen‐bonded tetramer is constructed in salt 1 and a ribbon is constructed in salt 2 . The tetramers and ribbons are then packed in a repeating manner to generate various host frameworks, and the tetrapropylammonium guest counter‐ions are contained in the cavities of the host lattices to give the final stable crystal structures. In these two salts, although the host anion and guest cation are the same, the difference in the ancillary small molecules results in different structures, indicating the significance of ancillary molecules in the formation of crystal structures.  相似文献

A novel water-soluble luminescent complex consisting of Eu(ally-dbm)\begin{document}$_3$\end{document}-2Tppo and poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) (PNIPAM) is synthesized through a series of chemical reactions. The structure of the complex is characterized by TGA, GPC, HNMR, and the thermal-responsive fluorescence of the complex in aqueous solution is investigated. It is found that PNIPAM collapse above the lower critical solution temperature causes the coordination bond breaking, leading to weakening of the fluorescence from Eu\begin{document}$^{3+}$\end{document} and enhancing of the fluorescence from the ligands. When temperature decreases, the fluorescence from Eu\begin{document}$^{3+}$\end{document} is found to boost up and the fluorescence from ligands weakens accordingly. It is deduced from this phenomenon that the ligands re-coordinate with europium ions again along with the temperature decreasing, which is further confirmed by IR measurements. This thermal-responsive fluorescence is of reversibility, which can be used as molecular probes for biological imaging and collapse studying of PNIPAM.  相似文献

The immobilization of reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) agents on silica for surface‐initiated RAFT polymerizations (SI‐RAFT) via the Z‐group approach was studied systematically in dependence of the functionality of the RAFT‐agent anchor group. Monoalkoxy‐, dialkoxy‐, and trialkoxy silyl ether groups were incorporated into trithiocarbonate‐type RAFT agents and bound to planar silica surfaces as well as to silica nanoparticles. The immobilization efficiency and the structure of the bound RAFT‐agent film varied strongly in dependence of the used solvent (toluene vs. 1,2‐dimethoxyethane) and the anchor group functionality, as evidenced by atomic force microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. Surface‐initiated RAFT polymerizations using functionalized silica nanoparticles revealed that grafted oligomers, which often occur in SI‐RAFT, are not formed within the crosslinked structures that originate from the immobilization, and that RAFT‐agent films that show less aggregation during the immobilization are more efficient during SI‐RAFT in terms of polymer grafting density. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A symmetrical 2‐thiopyrimidine based molecule with an expanded π‐electron system is synthesized and used to form a self‐assembled monolayer (SAM) on gold surfaces. Utilizing chemical vapor deposition a monolayer of (3‐mercaptopropyl)triethoxysilane is formed on silicon dioxide substrates. Both of these SAM coated substrates are characterized by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and the growth of a coordination polymer built up from 5,5′‐(ethyne‐1,2‐diyl)bis(2‐hydroxyacetophenone) and copper(II) on dual SAM coated transducers is studied. After the deposition procedure on interdigital electrodes the electrical properties of the polymer are investigated performing resistive measurements. A significant change of the resistance, which depends on the surrounding atmosphere, proves the sensing behavior of the synthesized coordination polymer. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Polypeptides have received noticeable attention in the biomedical field due to their structural versatility and biomimetic properties. Particularly, polypeptides that are responsive to biological stimuli, such as mildly acidic extracellular and intracellular conditions, have great potential as delivery carriers for therapeutics. However, synthesis of high-molecular-weight acid-labile peptides is often daunting due to highly restrictive polymerization conditions and limitations in preserving acid-degradable functional groups. For instance, the popular N-carboxyanhydride (NCA) ring-opening polymerization (ROP) is efficient, but acid-labile NCA monomers are difficult to synthesize and store. In this study, acid-labile polypeptides with high molecular weights were synthesized under mild, permissive conditions using carboxylated urethane derivative monomers which are stable for ease of handling. The polymerization was successful in various organic solvents at room temperature, and did not require additional energy or initiation to drive the formation of NCA intermediates. The polymerization was also rapid enough to be independent of inert atmosphere. The strategy explored here to synthesize high-molecular-weight acid-labile polypeptides offers significant advantages including facile synthesis of acid-labile urethane derivative monomers that are stable, even in contact with moisture, and fast polymerization under easily achievable conditions. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Experiments with stretching moderately concentrated polymer solutions have been carried out. Model experiments were carried out for poly(acrylonitrile) solutions in dimethyl siloxane. Just the choice of concentrated solutions allowed for a clear demonstration of a demixing effect with the formation of two separate phases—an oriented polymer fiber and solvent drops sitting on its surface. An original experimental device for following all subsequent stages in the demixing process was built. It combined two light beams, one transverse to the fiber and a second directed along (inside) the fiber, the latter played the role of an optical line. This gives a unique opportunity to observe processes occurring inside a fiber. The process of demixing starts from the volume phase separation across the whole cross section of a fiber at some critical deformation and the propagation of the front of demixing along the fiber. Then a solvent cylindrical skin appears which transforms into a system of separate droplets. New experimental data are discussed based on a comparison of the current different points of view on the phenomenon of deformation‐induced phase separation: thermodynamic shift of the equilibrium phase transition temperature, growth of stress‐induced concentration fluctuations in two‐component fluids, and mechanically pressing a solvent out from a polymer network. The general belief is that a rather specific (so‐called “beads‐on‐a‐string”) structure of a filament is realized in stretching dilute solutions: beads of a polymer solution connected by oriented polymer bridges forming a single object. The situation in stretching moderately concentrated solutions appears quite different: real phase separation was observed. So, the alternative phenomenon to the formation of the “beads‐on‐a‐string” structure has been experimentally proven. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part B: Polym.
